ABOUT Seyal paav RECIPE

A typical sindhi recipe of sauteed bun pav in various ways . Perfect for breakfast or brunch .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 125 gms or half a bunch Coriander leaves
  2. 7-8 Green chillies
  3. 25 gm garlic
  4. 300 gm Tomatoes
  5. 1/2 tsp haldi
  6. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 12 Paav bread
  9. 1 Cup water
  10. 3 tbsp oil
  11. 1 tbsp Butter
  12. Pomogranate pearls to garnish
  13. Sev to garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the Pav ladi into 4 pieces each. Keep aside. In a mixer, make a puree of Coriander leaves, garlic, green chillies and tomatoes.
  2. In a pan, heat the oil along with the butter. Pour the coriander tomato puree and stir it till well.
  3. Once the oil seperates, add in the dry spices. Now add in the water and let it come to a boil. You may adjust the water on how dry or how soft you want the pav to be.
  4. Toss in the bread and give it a quick stir. Simmer the flame for s minute or two. Once it comes together, Put it onto the serving plate.
  5. Garnish with some pomegranate pearls, sev , onion rings and a slice of lemon. Serve it hot.
