This is a typical manglorean home made pickle and we always have this on a daily basis at home. so follow this easy recipe to make this at home.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Red chilly 1 kg
  2. Mustard seeds 1/2kg
  3. Turmeric powder 50 grams
  4. 10 gram hing
  5. Salt 1/2 kg +1/2kg
  6. Salted mango 5 kg

Instructions

  1. Take small mangoes, put in boiled cool salty water . close the vessel with a lid and let they be soaked for minimum 15 _20 days
  2. Now take those mangoes out.
  3. Keep the dry red chillies and mustard seeds in the sun . In evening time make these into a smooth powder in mixie jar
  4. Now take big dry vessel add these powder along with the mangoes ,turmeric powder ,hing and add mangoes .add salt and that old salted water . Take big spoon and mix nicely. Now pickle is ready to eat
