Everyone enjoys burfis so here is another variety of the same, made with moong dal.
Nice recipe!
Soak moong dal in water for couple of hours so that they fluff up. Strain and then make a paste of the same in a blender.
Heat a pan add butter and ghee, add moong paste and roast it till it smells nice and cooked.
Add khoya, milk powder, coconut powder, elichi powder.
Add sugar syrup [make a sugar syrup using sugar and water, made earlier], mix a pinch of kesar [saffron] color , mix well and cook until the mixture is dry. Then transfer this mixture onto a greased plate.
Let this set for few hours , cut them into pieces and garnish with some silver warq.
