  1. 1cup -maida
  2. 1 tsp-corn flour
  3. 2 tsp - pure ghee
  4. 1.5 cup- water
  5. 4-5 - ice cubes
  6. 2 cup- suger
  7. To deep fry- pure ghee

Instructions

  1. To make batter For ghevar. Melt ghee than keep it in freezer till it freeze. Than take it out. Pour it in broad vessel. Than put ice cubes in it. Than beat it with the help of palm
  2. When ghee becomes. Creamy than check whether ice cubes remains in it if ice cubes are there than remove them.
  3. Now add maida and Milk in it and mix properly . Add water gradually in it and beat continuously. So that no lumps form.
  4. Batter for ghevar is ready. Consistency should be like of kadhi.
  5. When bubbles in the pot disappear then similarly pour 1tbspoon batter again. Repeat the process to pour 7-8 spoons of batter to make one ghevar.
  6. Now with the help of long stick make a circular hole in the centre of ghevar by moving with light hand.
  7. When ghevar becomes golden in colour take it out. Keep it in a bowl and allow it to cool. Similarly make more ghevat from remaining batter.
  8. For syrup, mix sugar and water in a pan then boil it to make the syrup of two string consistency. Then pour hot syrup on ghevar with a spoon. For one ghevar 3-4 tbspoon of syrup us needed.
  9. Ghevar is ready to eat. Garnish it with finely chopped almond and pistachio to serve..
