The famous hokey pokey or honey comb .. Is super delicious technical dish but a great tasting toffee. After week of sincere meal wth all fruits n vegetables . eating broccoli n making no fuss. I treat my family wth this delightful treat .hope u too try n enjoy ... Just don forget to brush ur teeth

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. FOR HONEYCOMB
  2. 125g castor sugar
  3. 125g golden syrup or fructose syrup
  4. 2.5 tsp baking soda
  5. For ice cream
  6. 1cup Milk
  7. 1 tblsp condensed milk
  8. 1/2 cup Roasted walnuts.
  9. Nutmeg1/4 tsp
  10. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. For toffeee
  2. Keep baking tray lined and greased with baking sheets
  3. Measure equal part of sugar n syrup in pan put on medium heat let it sit until it reaches 149°c.
  4. Then add baking sodan stir continuously
  5. Once all soda incorporated. Put in on bakng tray
  6. Let it sit undisturbed for 15 to 20.
  7. FOR ICE CREAM
  8. Cook your milk and reduce to 1/2a cup
  9. And allow to cool
  10. Add your toffe as per your desired sweetness. I like my ice cream little less sweet to complement d honeycomb toffee
  11. In a blender blend walnuts nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon milk reduced and toffee until smooth n frothy
  12. Remove itin a tin and freeze at least 8 hrs
  13. Serve the treat and motivate your kids for healthy eating in coming week
