ABOUT Biscuit cake RECIPE

Biscuit cake is very delicious cake recipe. It is very easy to cook, taste delicious and needs very few ingredients. It is a quick eggless cake recipe which do not need to bake. You can make Biscuit cake in pressure cooker very easily. Here I am with biscuit cake recipe in pressure cooker.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Parle G biscuits - 20 biscuits
  2. Hide and Seek -20 biscuits
  3. Full cream milk - 1 cup
  4. Powdered Sugar to taste
  5. Plain Eno or Fruit Salt - 1 packet
  6. Baking tin
  7. Nuts (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Crush the biscuits separately in a mixer to get powdered biscuits.
  2. Add powdered sugar, chopped nuts (optional) in crushed biscuits and mix well.
  3. Add lukewarm milk and mix without lumps to get a smooth batter. You can add more or less milk to adjust the consistency of the batter.
  4. Before adding eno or fruit salt in a cake mix, bring water to boil in a steamer or cooker or any heavy bottomed pan and keep it ready to bake the cake.
  5. Grease and dust the baking pan or tin.
  6. Add eno in the cake batter and mix well to get smooth mixture without any lumps.
  7. Transfer the batter to the greased baking tin.
  8. Put the small,thick steel stand at the bottom of the cooker or pan an then place the baking tin on it.
  9. Cover the pan and steam for first 15 minutes on high flame. Do not forget to remove the whistle of the pressure cooker.
  10. Steam the cake batter for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame.
  11. After 10 to 15 minutes check the cake by inserting a toothpick in the center of the it. If toothpick comes out clean, then cake is perfectly cooked.
  12. Remove the tin from the pan and let it cool completely. Once it cooled, remove the cake from the tin.
  13. Decorate the cake with chocolate spread, grated chocolate or nuts.
  14. Cut and serve delicious spongy soft biscuit cake that just melt in your mouth.
  15. Enjoy biscuit cake with your kids.
