ABOUT Pakoda Punjabi RECIPE

Punjabi Pakoda and its speciality is the disc of onion,brinjal/baigan cut round and thick.Salt and red chilli applied on the onions and brinjals too Gram flour is made into thick batter so as to coat well, and ajwain added too.Crisp as baking soda added.Here I have assorted most favourite Pakoda of North,brinjal potatoes and onions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 grams besan
  2. 2 medium size onions
  3. 1 large potato
  4. 1 long thick brinjal/aubergines
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Pinch Of Baking Soda
  7. 1/4 tspn ajwain
  8. 1/2 tspn zeera powder
  9. 1 tspn red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspn Chaat masala
  11. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Add all spices and sum coriander chopped to Besan/gram flour
  2. Add water slowly to make a thickish batter ,put aside
  3. Peel,wash onions,brinjal and potato slice them thick and round
  4. Apply sum salt & red chilli powder to all cut onions and brinjals
  5. After 5Minutes of keeping both besan done and the veggies,heat oil to fry
  6. Start droppin2-3 onions slices then brinjals and potatoes turn by turn ,
  7. Do not put too many at. Time
  8. Fry golden and remove
  9. Serve hot with your favourite chutney or sauce
