ABOUT Onion Omelette RECIPE

This is my Hubby's fav Omelette. Very popularly found in fast food outlet out here in Chennai.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Eggs - 2
  2. Onion - 2 finely chopped 
  3. Green chilly - 1 finely chopped or as per your taste 
  4. Pepper to taste 
  5. Salt to taste 
  6. Oil - 1 tbsp 

Instructions

  1. Break the egg in a mixing bowl and whisk nicely. 
  2. Add the chopped onions, green chillies, pepper and salt to taste and whisk again till it incorporated nicely. 
  3. Heat a tawa and drizzle the oil. Pour the egg mixture and spread it. Let it cook for 2-3 mins. 
  4. Now fold from both the ends and flip over and cook for 2-3 mins or till brown.
  5. Remove in a serving plate and serve. I served with Mayonnaise and vinegar pickled chilly.
