ABOUT Cucumber Onion Raita... RECIPE

A very easy peasy raita that goes well with biryanis and pulao. It can also be served with aaloo parathas. Made in a jiffy and with just a few ingredients, this surely is the most popular choice among many.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Cucumber peeled and chopped large 6 to 7
  2. Onion finely chopped 2
  3. Green chillies finely chopped 2 (optional)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Yogurt 400 gm
  6. Coriander finely chopped a fistful
  7. Mint leaves finely chopped a fistful

Instructions

  1. Whisk the yogurt well.
  2. In the meantime, chop all the vegetables.
  3. Now add in the yogurt and mix well.
  4. Green chilli is optional.
  5. It tastes good even without it.
  6. Serve it right away or keep it refrigerated to keep sourness at bay.
