Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Milk 2 litres
  2. Sugar 1 cup
  3. Thin vermicelli ( sewwiyan) 1 cup
  4. Dry fruits 1 cup cut slices
  5. Dry dates 1 /2 cup
  6. Cardamom crushed 1 tsp
  7. Saffron 1/2 tsp
  8. Charoli 1 tbsp
  9. Magajtari 1 tbsp
  10. Ghee 3 tbsp
  11. Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
  12. Evoprated milk 1 cup
  13. Condensed milk 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat milk in a big pot.
  2. Cut all the dry fruits into slices.
  3. Break vermicelli in small pieces . Add the condensed milk and evaporated milk into the boiling milk. Add sugar in milk. Add cardamom, saffron into milk.
  4. Lower the flame and simmer till the milk slightly thickens.(about 45 minutes), keep on the stirring the milk at intervals. Heat ghee in a pan add sliced nuts ,charoli, magajtari ,roast 2 to 3 minutes, After add sewiyan and sauté 3 minutes more .
  5. Add the roasted nuts ,and sewiyan in a milk and simmer till the sweiyan are cooked and are softened,about 10 to 12 minutes. The milk also thickens and reduces by now add the nutmeg powder .
  6. Switch off the flame.and stir.so switch off the flame as per the consistency you want The Sheer Khurma will more thicken when cooled. Serve warm or cool.
