ABOUT Pizza - Khandvi Roll RECIPE

Bringing two completely differebt cusines, dishes together. Italy ka Pizza and Gujarat ki Khandvi. Here I present Pizza Khandvi Rolls.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chickpea Flour - 1/2 cup
  2. Buttermilk - 1.5 cup
  3. Salt
  4. Asafoetida - 1/4 th tsp
  5. Pizza sauce - 2 tbsp
  6. Grated cheese
  7. Chopped Capsicum and Onions - 1/4 th cup
  8. Chilli flakes and oregano

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add besan and buttermilk and stir well till smooth and mix till all lumps are disappeared.
  2. Now add the batter in a pan or kadhai and on slow flame keep on stirring. Do not allow batter to stick at the bottom of pan.
  3. After the batter is thickened, do a test on plate greased with oil. Spread a spoon of batter on it.
  4. After cooling down,begin to roll. If you are able to roll it perfectly,your batter is ready. and if youre unable,then the batter needs to be cooked more.
  5. Continue stirring until you are able to get perfect rolls. It took about 15 minutes to get the perfect consistency.
  6. Once the batter is prepared, pour it quickly on a plate and spread it evenly with a spatula. and also you have to be very quick with the remaining batter, as it will begin to become thick.
  7. After spreading allow to cool. Now spread pizza sauce on it and grated vegetables with grated cheese and oregano.
  8. Now cut it into strips and gently roll every strip. and your pizza khandvi is ready to be served.
  9. Garnish it with grated cheese.(Optional)
