Paneer stuffed fried chickpea balls in onion tomato gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chickpeas 2 tablespoon
  2. Paneer 2 tablespoon
  3. Black pepper powder a pinch
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Corn flour 2 tablespoon
  6. Green chilly 1
  7. oil for frying koftas
  8. ginger a very small piece
  9. For gravy
  10. Onion 1 chopped
  11. Tomato 2 chopped
  12. Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  13. curd 1 tablespoon
  14. Fresh cream 1 tablespoon
  15. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  16. Red chilly powder 1/2 Teaspoon
  17. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  18. Coriander powder 1 tablespoon
  19. Sugar 1/2 teaspoon (optional )
  20. Salt to taste
  21. Oil 3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Soak chickpea in sufficient lukewarm water for two and half hours.
  2. cook chickpea in pressure cooker along with little salt.
  3. drain water completely .
  4. grind boiled chickpea along with green chilly and a piece of ginger
  5. make two parts of this mixture.
  6. add black pepper powder and salt to paneer. mash well.
  7. Make a rounds of ground chickpea and fill 1 teaspoon paneer in each ball.
  8. seal the edges and make a boll.
  9. add little water in cornflour to make thick paste. add little salt too.
  10. dip these chickpea balls in that batter and deep fry in hot oil.
  11. Redy koftas
  12. for greavy
  13. make a paste of onion and tomatoes.
  14. heat oil in a wok . add ginger-garlic and onion - tomato paste.
  15. saute and cook till it statrs leaving oil.
  16. add curd and dry masale.
  17. Add salt and sugar. cook for a minute or two.
  18. add water and adjust consistency of gravy.
  19. remove from heat after a boil.
  20. add cream .
  21. add kofta at the time of serving.
