ABOUT Corn Delight RECIPE

Sweet corn or Maize is a favorite ice-cream flavor in Mexico. It has natural sweet and milky texture which makes it creamy and tasty. Corn kernels can also be used to make soups, ice-creams, smoothies etc.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Corn kernels- 1cup
  2. Condensed milk- 1/2 cup
  3. Whipped cream (sweet)- 3/4th cup
  4. Cinnamon powder- a pinch
  5. Full fat Milk- 3/4th cup
  6. Honey- 2-3 tbsp
  7. To garnish- chocolate syrup or kiwi syrup, chocolate shavings.

Instructions

  1. Take corn kernels. Add them to the saucepan along with the milk.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, let corn cook for 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
  3. Add cinnamon powder. Cook for few seconds. Turn off the heat.
  4. Using blender, puree the corn kernels.
  5. Now add condensed milk, honey. blend. Strain pureed mixture into large bowl.
  6. Add whipped cream. Fold gently.
  7. Pour in airtight container and keep in the freezer for an hour or two.
  8. Take out from refrigerator and blend with an electric beater for 1 minutes. Keep again in freezer.
  9. Refrigerate at least for 5-6 hrs or until well set.
  10. Scoop out and serve. Top with chocolate or kiwi syrup or chocolate shavings.
