ABOUT Beetroot cookies RECIPE

It is suitable in many diets that avoid processed wheat flours.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 75 gms butter
  2. 60 gms powdered sugar
  3. 100 gms flour (maida)
  4. 2 tbsp raw beetroot puree

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until very light and fluffy with an electric beater. Add beetroot puree to the above mixture and beat well. Add maida gradually to the mixture and mix well.
  2. You should get a soft dough. Line a cookie sheet with brown paper. Grease the sheet. Fill the cookie mixture in the piping bag.
  3. Pipe the desired shape. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. Let it cool to become crisp.
