ABOUT Summer-Time Red Smoothie RECIPE

This is a super healthy refreshing smoothie. It's jam-packed with phytochemical benefits real food anti - oxidant, anti - inflammatory & blood -cleansing nutritional power houses.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 cups watermelon chunks
  2. 1 small beet washed & cut into wedges
  3. 1 carrot washed & cut into wedges
  4. 2 tsp ginger peeled & chopped
  5. 4 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  6. 6 - 8 sprigs of mint leaves
  7. 3 - 4 tbs honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine watermelon, beetroot, lemon juice, ginger, 6 - 8 mint leaves & honey.
  2. Blend in a mixer to a fine puree.
  3. Add ice cubes .
  4. Garnish with mint leaves.
  5. Serve chilled in tall glasses
