Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup rajma [kidney beans] soaked overnight and pressure cooked
  2. 1/4 cup tomatoes chopped
  3. 2 green chillies chopped
  4. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp cumin and coriander powder
  6. 1/4 tsp Haldi [turmeric ] powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 2 tsp oil
  9. 2 tbsp butter for topping
  10. 2 cups cooked rice to serve with rajma

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat oil.
  2. Add green chillies chopped
  3. Stir it and add chopped tomatoes
  4. Saute the tomatoes and close the lid of the pan.Medium the flame
  5. See if the tomatoes become softness gravy forms from the tomatoes
  6. Add salt ,red chilli powder,jeera Dhania powder,Haldi powder and stir it.
  7. Again close the lid
  8. Now add soaked and pressure cooked rajma in it n.mix well
  9. Stir it n if the gravy is very thick add little water
  10. It should be of medium thick gravy consistency
  11. Close it and simmer it for few minutes
  12. Switch Off the flame
  13. Serve hot with piping hot rice
  14. Top the rajma with butter n chopped Coriander leaves for garnish
