ABOUT Beetroot Dates Truffles RECIPE

It’s a very healthy option can be consumed as a dessert or snack. It contains beet root and dates which are very good for health and kids loves to have the same as it contains coco.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Beetroot cooked peeled large – 1nos
  2. Vanilla extract – 1tsp
  3. Dates – deseeded finely chopped ½ cup
  4. Desiccated coconut – 1/2 cup
  5. Honey or date syrup – 3 tsp or as per taste
  6. Unsweetened coco powder – 1tbsp– 1tbsp for rolling and dusting
  7. Roasted almond powder – 1/2 cup For rolling
  8. Rolled Oats roasted– 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Put the beetroot, dates, rolled oats roasted, roasted desiccated coconut, vanilla extract, Honey into a blender. Process until well combined.
  2. Add coco powder blend until smooth mixture. Transfer the mixture to a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour or two.
  3. Once chilled, scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture. Roll in your palms to form balls, the mixture will be slightly sticky but should form balls easily.
  4. Put some extra coco powder and roasted almond powder in a separate plate and roll the chocolate truffles around in one or the other to coat.
