ABOUT BAKED MANGO YOGURT or BHAPA AAM DOI RECIPE

Bengali MISHTI DOI is a very traditional and authentic dessert of BENGAL . It tastes delicious, creamy and ready to melt in the mouth . And the fresh mango flavour make it more irresistible .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mango pulp - 1 cup
  2. Fresh strained thick yogurt - 1 cup
  3. Condensed Milk - 1 Cup
  4. Evaporated Milk - 1 cup
  5. A few saffron
  6. Chopped mango and cherries for garnished

Instructions

  1. Take ripe mangoes , peel them off and cut into small pieces .
  2. The process to make the evaporated milk : Just take half liter of milk and reduce it to 1 cup , simmering it i=on low flame with occasionally stirring .
  3. Add saffron to the milk and perfect evaporated milk ready for this recipe .
  4. Keep fresh hung yogurt ready . Now take a blender and add all the ingredients milk , condensed milk and mango pulp .
  5. Blend them together very well . Now pour mixture in a bowls .
  6. Pre - heat the oven for 5 minutes in 180 degree celsius.
  7. Bake mango curd for 15 - 20 minutes .
  8. Check mango yogurt is set or not . Gently tap on the sides . Keep them in a fridge for 4 - 6 hours .
  9. Garnish with the chopped mangoes and cherries and raisin .
  10. Served chilled
