Soft fresh water fish cooked in a pungent mustard gravy
Take the fish and clean it well and marinate for 15 minutes with salt and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Fry the fish in 200 mustard oil and let it rest
Grind the mustard seed with little salt and 3 to 4 nos of green chilli
No mix 50 ml of raw mustard oil to the paste and mix well
Add the curd and beat it well
Add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Add this paste to a fresh wok and cook well
And salt and sugar to taste
Add water when the oil leaves the gravy
Let it boil and now add the fish
Add the remaining green chilli
Let it simmer for some time
Pour over some more mustard oil if you want (raw or leftover after frying of fish)
Serve hot with steamed rice
