minced mutton with spices shaped into kebabs and pan roasted

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 gms - mutton (boneless small pieces)
  2. 80 gms - onions chopped
  3. 2 - cloves
  4. 2 - green cardamom
  5. 1 /2 inch - cinnamon
  6. 2 tbsp - coriander leaves
  7. 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  8. 1 tsp - mint leaves
  9. 1/4 tsp - red chilly powder
  10. 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  11. 2 tbsp oil + 2tbsp oil for shallow frying
  12. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with oil, add onions and saute for a while until they turn pink in colour.
  2. Add ginger -garlic paste and saute for 1 minute. Add mutton to it along with remaining spices .
  3. Cook until all the water is dried, cool it and grind it to a smooth dough with out adding water .
  4. Wet your hands with water and make small balls of lemon sized, set aside .
  5. Add oil to a pan and shallow fry them until golden brown .
