ABOUT Paneer 65 RECIPE

Spicy lip smacking snack made with cottage cheese / paneer.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Cottage cheese / paneer cubes = 12-15
  2. All purpose flour / maida - 1/2 Cup
  3. Cornflour - 3tbsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
  7. Garam masala powder - 1/4tsp
  8. Water as needed
  9. Oil for frying
  10. For tadka : Oil 1tbsp
  11. Onion - 1, sliced
  12. Curry leaves - 5-6
  13. Curd - 1tbsp
  14. Green chilli - 1-2

Instructions

  1. First mix maida and cornflour in a bowl.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder to it. Add some water to it and make a thick batter.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan. Coat paneer cubes with this batter and deep fry on medium flame.
  4. Now in a pan heat 1tbsp oil, add onions, green chilli and curry leaves to it and saute for few minutes. Add fried paneer cubes to it and mix well. Add curd, little salt and red chilli powder and mix again.
  5. Turn off the gas and serve hot as a starter.
