Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup- Bell pepper (finely chopped)
  2. 1- Boiled and mashed potato
  3. 50 gm - Paneer
  4. 1 spoon - Mayonnaise
  5. 1 cup - Spinach boiled and pureed
  6. 1/2 teaspoon - Coriander powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoon - Cumin powder
  8. 1/2 teaspoon - Chat masala
  9. 1 - Green chilly finely chopped
  10. 2 teaspoons - Fresh mint chutney
  11. Salt and pepper - to taste
  12. 5 - Slices of bread
  13. 1/2 cup - Gram flour (besan)
  14. 1/2 tablespoon - Dry mango powder
  15. 1 teaspoon - Butter
  16. 2 tablespoons - Olive oil
  17. Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix bell pepper with paneer and mayonnaise. Add some salt and pepper and keep it aside.
  2. Mix the potato with half the spinach puree and the remaining ingredients for the filling accept the green chutney. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Mix the besan with the remaining puree, salt , pepper and dry mango powder. Add some water (if needed) to make the batter that can coat the bread. Not like bread dough but not too watery.
  4. Butter all the slices of bread.
  5. On 1 buttered slice, put the bell pepper mixture. Top with the other slice, butter face up. Add some potato mixture on this and top with some mint chutney. Close the sandwich with the last slice, butter face down, something like a layered club.
  6. Dip the sandwich in the flour batter mixture and grill pan fry till the slides are brown and crisp.
  7. Cut into pieces and serve immediately
