Khadi masoor pulav is a perfect one-pot meal. It goes very well with raita, fried onion and aamti. It is also perfect dish for your kid's tiffin.
Cut the onion and puree the tomato.
Soak the rice for 10 min.
Put the ghee in the pressure cooker and when it gets hot add Shahi jeera and bay leaf. Add onion, AND ginger garlic paste. Saute till it becomes light brown.
Now put all the spices and let the dal cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add rice into masala and mix well. Add salt and water.
Pressure cook the pulav and then garnish with coriander leaves. Served hot with burani raita.
