ABOUT Schezwan Egg Fry. RECIPE

Boiled egg with schezwan flavor is a bliss for egg lovers. My husband loves to eat boiled eggs. So I always try to serve it with different flavours. This one is an awesome party starter, it takes less time and you can marinate and keep it in the fridge one day before to save your time.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boiled egg- 6
  2. Gram flour- 1 tbsp
  3. Schezwan chutney - 2 tbsp
  4. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  5. Oil- 2 tbsp
  6. Chopped onion-1 tbsp
  7. Tomato sauce-1 tbsp
  8. Coriander leaves - a few strings

Instructions

  1. Heat a kadahi. Add gram flour roast in slow flame till golden brown.
  2. Let it be cool
  3. Add schezwan chutney (I use store bought ) to it.
  4. Cut boiled eggs into halves.
  5. Marinate the eggs with schezwan mix. Keep it aside for 1 hour.
  6. Roast on a tawa for 5 to 10 minutes by adding some oil in low medium heat. Serve hot garnished with chopped onion, tomato sauce and coriander leaves.
