Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup chick pea
  2. 1 tbsp oil
  3. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  5. 1 green chilli chopped
  6. 7-8 curry leaves
  7. 1 onion finely chopped
  8. 1 tomato finely chopped
  9. 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  11. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 tsp asafoetida
  14. 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  15. 2 tbsp grated coconut powder

Instructions

  1. Soak chick pea for 8 hours and cook in pressure with salt.
  2. Drain chickpea.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves in order
  5. Follow by ginger garlic paste, onion and dry spices.
  6. Add tomato and cook till tomatoes are nicely cooked.
  7. Add cooked chickpea and coriander leaves chopped.
