Bread rasmalai is one of my and my family favorite dessert. It is very easy to make and tastes awesome. Especially on sundays after heavy lunch, every one crave for some dessert...Go ahead and try this bread rasmalai recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Whole milk- 1 liter
  2. White bread slices- 4-6
  3. Cashew nuts- 8-10 (crushed)
  4. Almonds- 8-10 (chopped/ crushed)
  5. Pistachio- 8-10 (chopped)
  6. Sugar- 50 gms
  7. Saffron- 2 pinch

Instructions

  1. Turn on the flame and put the milk pot on it. Increase the flame high to low let the milk boil.
  2. Once milk started boil reduce the flame and stir continuously. Boil the milk till milk reduce half of its quantity. That is 1/2 litre.
  3. Stir it in between, add crushed cashew nuts, pistachio, almonds and saffron and mix it well.
  4. Boil it on low flame till it reduces to 1/4 of its original quality (i.e 1/4 litre), keep stirring.
  5. Turn off the flame and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Take a bread slice and remove the edges.
  7. Cut the bread slice with cookies cutter (circle shape).
  8. Take 2 bread slices and dip it into the malai, leave it in malai for 20-30 seconds.
  9. Take out the soaked bread slices along with the malai milk in a serving plate.
  10. Garnish with saffron, bread rasmalai is ready.
  11. Serve immediately or chilled.
