ABOUT Eggless Whole Wheat Black Forest Cake In Jar (using 2 mins microwave cake) RECIPE

This would be the easiest recipe for healthy black forest cake you ever have tried! First made 2 minutes microwave egg less whole wheat chocolate cake in mug and then cut them in rounds and used them to make super easy black forest cake as its served in jar! Generally cherries are used in this cake, but as strawberries are available very easily in this season, have used them here  and that tastes really yumm!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. To make egg-less 2 minutes chocolate whole wheat mug cake :
  2. 2 tbsp melted butter
  3. 2 1/2 tbsp curd
  4. 5 tbsp milk
  5. 3 1/2 tbsp whole wheat flour
  6. 3 tbsp castor sugar
  7. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  8. Pinch of baking soda
  9. 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  10. 1 tbsp chocolate chips
  11. To make strawberry syrup:
  12. 1 cup finely chopped strawberries
  13. 1/2 cup water
  14. 3 tbsp sugar
  15. To make whip cream:
  16. 200 ml very cold heavy cream
  17. 4 tbsp castor sugar
  18. 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  19. Other ingredients for assembly:
  20. Strawberry slices
  21. Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. How to make egg-less 2 minutes chocolate whole wheat mug cake :
  2. In a microwave safe mug, add butter, curd, milk, whole wheat flour, castor sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder and mix it well using fork.
  3. Sprinkle some chocolate chips and microwave it for 2 minutes.
  4. Once cake has cooled, cut cake into tiny rounds.
  5. Keep them aside.
  6. How to make strawberry syrup:
  7. In a saucepan, add in strawberries, water, sugar and toss it.
  8. Place saucepan on low heat until sugar begin to melt.
  9. Continue to stir until sauce becomes very thick, about 4 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  11. Keep it aside.
  12. How to make whip cream:
  13. Whip heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla on high until stiff peaks form.
  14. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  15. How to assemble the cake into jar:
  16. Choose any medium sized jar.
  17. Stuff the jar first with chocolate cake piece.
  18. Add about 2 tbsp strawberry syrup on top of cake piece (it will most likely soak through the cake as opposed to just sitting on top)
  19. Top with whipped cream and chocolate chips.
  20. Repeat the steps 1-3 until jar is full and topped with whip cream.
  21. Garnish it with some chocolate chips, strawberry slices.
  22. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Will stay fresh in refrigerator for about 4 days.
