Just because it's a cake, doesn't mean it has to be sweet..... cheese, veggies, olives and lentils can all be used to create a very tasty cake indeed.. This cake is very easy and very delicious and perfect for tea time snacks
Soak both the grams for 3 hours. Grind in a fine paste.
Add salt, shredded carrot and ginger-chilli paste, curd, coconut, salt , asafoetida and turmeric, Mix well. Cover and keep aside for 4 hours.
Heat oil and 1/4 cup of water in a small bowl. Hold it on the batter and mix soda. It will bubble instantly. Mix it in the batter.
Take a baking pan. Grease and dust it. Pour the prepared batter in it. Bake it at 200 degree C for 40 minutes, until it forms a golden brown crust. Cool it
Unmold and decorate it
Method of mousse :
Combine the mousse ingredients in a bowl and whip until the mixture is smooth and forms peaks.
Decorating:
Cut the cake in 3 layer, apply mousse on first layer arrange sliced cucumber.
Put second slice apply mousse arrange onion and tomatoes.
Cover with third layer and decorate with cheese slice flower.
Serve.
