Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Salt for taste
  2. Tamarind pulp a gooseberry size
  3. To fry:
  4. Oil for frying
  5. Chopped lady's finger 1 cup
  6. To temper:
  7. Oil - 1 tsp
  8. 2 teaspoon finely chopped onion
  9. To grind:
  10. 1/2 coconut grated
  11. 2 medium onions
  12. 2 medium tomatoes
  13. Little coriander leaves
  14. 2 to 3 tablespoons of sambar powder

Instructions

  1. In a pan add oil and chopped lady's finger and fry till the stickiness of it is out completely. Keep it aside.
  2. Grind all the ingredients to a fine paste under section "to grind".
  3. In a pan add oil, finely chopped onion and fry. Now add the grinded mixture and add sufficient water (sambar consistency). Allow it to boil for 15 minutes or until the masala is cooked completely.
  4. Then add salt, tamarind pulp and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the fried lady's finger and cook for 5 more minutes. Check for the taste.
  6. Serve it with hot rice and ghee.
