ABOUT Instant spongy dhokla RECIPE

Instant, yummy and light dhokla using curd and sooji.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Curd 3/4 bowl
  2. sooji 1 bowl
  3. water 1 bowl
  4. Salt to taste
  5. ggc paste(ginger,garlic n chilli paste)1 spoon
  6. eno fruit salt without flavour 1 sachet
  7. rai 1 Spoon
  8. chopped or slit green chillies few
  9. oil to temper
  10. Coriander leaves for garnish
  11. red chilli powder to sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Beat the curd
  2. Add sooji, water, ginger garlic paste and salt.
  3. Let it rest for 5 mins by that time heat the steamer.
  4. Finally add one eno pack
  5. Put the batter instantly in the steamer
  6. Steam on high flame for 8 to 10 mins.
  7. Check by inserting knife if it comes clear means it's done.
  8. Now sprinkle red chilli on it and slit the dhokla.
  9. Now temper with rai and green chillies.
  10. garnish with coriander leaves
  11. Serve hot with Chatni or sauce.
