During Holi, we enjoy gujiya and thandai drink. So, made these cupcakes to celebrate Holi by adding thandai powder in bite size cupcakes.
Holi special
very unique flavour
Sieve maida, baking powder, baking soda and salt 3-4 times
Grease the cupcake liners or silicone muffins with butter.
Preheat oven at 180 C for 10 minutes
In a bowl beat butter/oil/ ghee and powdered sugar till creamy and fluffy .
Add curd, cardamom powder and rose water and beat for 10 seconds.
Add thandai powder and beat for few seconds
Add crushed rose petals sieved flour to the creamed mixture and fold it gently with a spatula.
Add flour coated nuts and saffron infused milk
If required add warm milk to the batter and fold it.
Pour the batter into cupcake liners or ramekins keep the cuppies in a tray .
Bake them at 180 C for 25-30 minutes for 20 -25 minutes
When cupcakes are baked cool on the wire rack for 10 minutes
Demould cupcakes and cool them completely on wire rack for 15 minutes
Then garnish with dried rose petals and thandai powder over it. Enjoy your Holi with thandai flavoured cupcakes.
