This is an old recipe of the times when there were no electric grinders in the kitchen. My nani used to grind on "Pata Varvanta ( Rectangle morter and Cylindrical pestle.) This is Sprouted moong in Onion tomato and coconut gravy.
Wash Sprouts property and drain in a sieve.
Pressure cook them by adding little water ( 1/2 to 3/4 th cup)
Let it cook for 3 whistles maximum. Keep aside.
Chop Onions and grind them with ginger and garlic.
Grind without adding any water.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions first. Add all masala after 3 minutes
After sautéing for few minutes add blended Tomatoes and coconut
Saute for 5 minutes. Add cooked moong sprouts.
Let everything cook on a high flame and mix well. Add water if required.
Your moong sprouts are ready.
Garnish with coriander leaves
