ABOUT Sprouted Moong Thoran RECIPE

It is a very healthy dish. Can be taken as a side dish for rice, or as a salad.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sprouted moong 1 cup
  2. Onion 1
  3. Green chillies 3
  4. Coconut grated 2-3 tbsp
  5. Turmeric a pinch
  6. Curry leaves a few, optional.
  7. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Cook moong with salt and turmeric, adding some water.
  2. In a pan, take oil then add in onion, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry well.
  3. Add cooked moong, adjust seasoning. Put coconut. If you don't like coconut, you can reduce the quantity of it or avoid it. Stir fry till it is dry.
