ABOUT Aatta laddoo RECIPE

It is a traditional laddoo that is made on Holi and Diwali at my native place. It is a perfect combination of health and taste.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour 1 kg
  2. Suji 250 gm
  3. Sugar powdered 750 gm
  4. Clarified butter 800 gm
  5. Makhana 6-7
  6. Almonds 6-7
  7. Melon seeds 2 tabspoon
  8. Little water/ milk to sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Add ghee to a heavy bottom pan. Roast atta and suji on low flame for 12 to 15 minutes
  2. Now grind Makhana , almonds and melon seeds coarsely. Remember it should not become powder.
  3. Add this mixture to roasted atta and suji. Switch off the flame. Immediately mix powdered sugar.
  4. Now bind laddo by sprinkling little water or milk.
