These are delicious mouthfull. Yummy and healthy at the same time. Though its loaded with ghee and dryfruits but isnt that the point of making them. We used to have it in morning with a glass of milk as children. And the legacy continues..my 1 year old loves it too.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1kg wheat flour
  2. 1/2 kg sugar ground finely
  3. 2 cups of mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, raisins)
  4. 250gms fresh ghee
  5. 1/2kg khoya(roasted on stove till cooked and browned)
  6. 2tbsp goond (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy bottom kadai heat half of the ghee and fry goond (if using) and keep aside.
  2. Add in the rest of the ghee and wheat flour and mix till the wheat flour is nicely incorporated and begins to brown.
  3. At this point be very careful not to burn the flour.
  4. Once done add khoya. Mix until combined. Add nuts. Roast again while stirring fast so that it does not stick at the bottom.
  5. At last when ready add sugar. It can be adjusted as per taste. Now roast for few more min until sugar is well combined.
  6. When its cooled enough to be handled start making ladoos. Don't forget to gobble some up too:blush:
