Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maize flour (makkai ka atta)...1cup
  2. Whole wheat flour..1cup
  3. Melted ghee...2tbsp
  4. Salt to taste...
  5. Ginger paste...1/2 tsp
  6. Chopped onion...1/2 cup
  7. Garlic paste...1/2 tsp
  8. Chopped coriander leaves..1tbsp
  9. Whole wheat flour for rolling.
  10. Ghee for cooking.

Instructions

  1. Combine maize flour,wheat flour and salt in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Add ghee and run with your fingertips till the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
  3. Knead into a stiff dough using enough water.
  4. Cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth.
  5. Now after 5 minutes,add remaining ingredients and knead well.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
  7. Roll out each portion into a roti using little whole wheat flour.
  8. Heat a pan or tava
  9. Cook the collar using little ghee,till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  10. Serve with curd and pickle of your choice.
