Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Icing sugar 3tbsp
  3. Pista powder 3tbsp
  4. Baking powder 1tsp
  5. Baking soda 1/2tsp
  6. Condensed milk 200gm
  7. Butter 50gm
  8. Water 120ml
  9. Pista essence or rose essence few drops (optional)
  10. Whipped cream
  11. Sugar syrup
  12. Rose water
  13. Chopped pista
  14. Red colour
  15. Silver balls for decorations

Instructions

  1. 1. Seive maida, baking powder, baking soda and icing sugar.
  2. 2. Whisk butter and condensed milk.
  3. 3. Add seived ingredients and pista powder. Mix
  4. 4. Add water and make batter. You may add essence
  5. 5. Grease the cake tin with butter and dust with maida
  6. 6. Pour the batter in the tin and bake at 160°c for 30 mins Take it out and cool
  7. 7.Meanwhile add rose water in sugar syrup and keep it aside. Now whip the cream till stiff peaks are formed and add rose essence and red colour in whipped cream
  8. 8. After the cake cools down, cut it in two layers.. soak the first layer with rose flavoured sugar syrup.. spread whipped cream.. give a layer of chopped pistas..
  9. 9. Put another layer of cake and cover entire cake with cream.. now make roses with whiped cream using wilton nozzle 1D.. decorate with silver balls.
