Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida- 2 cups
  2. Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
  3. Baking powder- 1 tsp
  4. Curd- 1/2 cup
  5. Grated Paneer- 1 cup
  6. Chopped Coriander- 1 tsp
  7. Green chilly- 1
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Chat Masala- 1/2 tsp
  10. Butter- 2 tsp
  11. Roasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix maida, baking powder, baking soda, and curd.
  2. Knead a dough by adding some warm water and butter.
  3. Put the dough in a large greased bowl/casserole and keep in a warm place for 1-2 hours or till the dough doubles.
  4. Take the dough out and make medium sized balls, I made 8 naans with this dough.
  5. Heat the tawa.
  6. Roll the balls as you roll a roti, but a little thicker. Put some roasted sesame seeds and coriander on it and dab a little.
  7. Put the tawa on heat, turn the heat to medium low.
  8. Now, take the roti in your hand and apply some water on one side.
  9. Put the water applied side onto the tawa, so that it get stuck to the tawa.
  10. Now, flip the tawa upside down and cook it from the other side too.
  11. Take it off the tawa and apply some butter over it. Plain naan is ready to serve.
  12. For making stuffed naan, make the stuffing of paneer by mixing paneer, salt, chat masala, green chilly and coriander.
  13. Add this stuffing into the roti at the 6th step, roll it as you make parantha)
  14. Rest procedure is same and final result is stuffed naan. Ready to serve.
