ABOUT Stuffed aalo pyaz paratha RECIPE

This is a hearty breakfast, stuffed parathas made with potatoes and onions.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1cup Wheat flour
  2. 2 potatoes [boiled & mashed]
  3. 1 Onion
  4. Coriander leaves [handful]
  5. Green chilli - 2
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste -1/2 tsp
  7. 1 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1 tsp coriander powder
  9. 1/2 spoon kalonji [nigella seeds]
  10. 1 tsp chilli powder
  11. 1/2 spoon dry mango powder
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Water to make dough
  14. oil for making paratha

Instructions

  1. Knead a soft dough using the wheat flour, salt and water. Let this rest for 10 minutes. While this is resting, mix rest of the ingredients together.
  2. Divide the potato filling into equal portions, and divide the dough into portions as well. Stuff each dough roundel with the potato stuff. Reshape to form a smooth roundel again.
  3. Roll each stuffed roundel into thick parathas , shallow fry them on a pan, serve with some curd and chutney.
