ABOUT Sweet Poha RECIPE

A healthy dish for the kids to replenish the energy after they are back to home from school. No heat is required for this recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2/3 Cup Poha - Medium thickness poha
  2. 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  3. 3/4 Cup Coconut Milk
  4. 2 Pods Cardamons
  5. 4 Cashew nuts
  6. 1 tablespoon grated coconut

Instructions

  1. Wash the poha two times to remove the impurities and drain the water completely from the poha.
  2. Powder the cardamon pods or just crush it in a mortar.
  3. Mix coconut milk and sugar so that the sugar gets dissolved.
  4. In a bowl add the poha, coconut sugar mixture and mix well. Keep this aside for 20 minutes, so that poha gets soaked and becomes soft.
  5. Before serving add crushed or powdered cardamons, cashewnuts and grated coconut, mix and ready to serve
