ABOUT Kids Burger RECIPE

It is a healthy burger. Made cutlets with vegetables, nuts, coconut and broken wheat.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mixed Vegetables (carrot, potato, capsicum, cauliflower, french beans, green peas and corn) 1 1/2 cup
  2. Onion chopped 1
  3. Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  4. Fresh coconut 2 tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Cumin Powder 1/2 Tsp
  8. Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Dry mango powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Chilli powder as per taste
  12. Oil for shallow frying 1/4 cup
  13. Broken wheat 1/2 cup
  14. Buns brown 4, cut in halves
  15. Cheese spread low fat 4 tbsp
  16. Cheese slices low fat 4
  17. Lettuce leaves 2 cut in half
  18. Tomato slices 4
  19. Tomato ketchup 4 tbsp
  20. Olives 4
  21. Toothpick 4

Instructions

  1. First we will make cutlets.
  2. Boil or microwave vegetables in hot water with salt for 6-7 mins.
  3. Boil broken wheat in 1 1/2 cup salted water for 5 mins.
  4. Strain it, keep aside.
  5. Heat oil.
  6. Add onion and ginger.
  7. Saute 3-4 mins.
  8. Add peanuts, saute for 2-3 mins.
  9. Add coconut.
  10. Add all the vegetables.
  11. Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, chilli powder, salt and garam masala.
  12. Now add dry mango powder.
  13. Mix and saute for 3-4 mins.
  14. Add boiled and strained broken wheat.
  15. Mix all the ingredients.
  16. You can add some lemon juice and fresh coriander leaves too at this stage.
  17. Switch off the gas.
  18. Now make cutlets out of them.
  19. Now apply bread crumbs on the cutlets.
  20. Heat oil and shallow fry them until golden brown.
  21. Take burger buns, toast them slightly on a tawa from both sides.
  22. Apply cheese spread.
  23. Now arrange lettuce leaves, then tomato slices.
  24. Next put cutlets and a cheese slice.
  25. Now apply tomato ketchup.
  26. Finally put the top part of the bun, applied with cheese spread.
  27. Now take a toothpick and seal the burger.
  28. Put a olive on it.
  29. Microwave the burger for 20 seconds.
  30. Yummy burger is ready!

Very nice recipe, these days all kids want junk food... this is the only way we can ensure they enjoy and eat healthy food at home.. :)
