This recipe, i got from a malayalam magazine "Pachakam" given by Noorja Aziz P. A delicious recipe,with rice and sausages.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken sausage ,cut into rounds 1 cup
  2. Vinegar 2 big spoon
  3. Chilli powder 1 big spoon.salt.
  4. oil
  5. garlic 10 cloves,chopped
  6. Cinnamon, cardamom,cloves,2,each
  7. sliced onion 1/4 cup
  8. tomato, ground to a paste, 1/4 cup
  9. Chicken soup cubes 1
  10. basmati rice,soaked 2 cup
  11. Coriander leaves
  12. Salt
  13. Water 3 + 1/2 cup
  14. Almonds [badam] 5,cut into pieces
  15. Coriander leaves,chopped.
  16. Saffron 1,small spoon,soaked in milk.

Instructions

  1. Marinate cut sausages in the 2 nd ingredients, keep for sometime. Fry them in oil. keep aside
  2. In the same oil,add garlic and whole spices.fry then add onion. When it s fried well,add tomato paste and chicken cube.fry till the tomatoes raw paste goes.
  3. Then add rice ,coriander leaves,salt and water. Stir well.cover & cook.when it s half cooked,add sausages.
  4. Then put the rice mixture on dum on low flame for 15 min.
  5. When the rice becomes dry ,add saffron, coriander leaves & badam. Serve hot.
