ABOUT Mutton roast RECIPE

Spice up your palate with mutton roast, which can be served with any Indian bread or with some steaming pulao.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Thigh portion of the lamb 1kg cut into small cubes
  2. Red dry chillies 10 to 12
  3. Peppercorns half tablespoon
  4. Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp
  5. Salt
  6. Soya sauce 2tbsp
  7. Garam masala 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Clean the mutton nicely
  2. Heat the cooker with 2tbsp of mustard oil
  3. Add the mutton in the cooker with ginger garlic paste and stir well for five minutes
  4. Add salt,dry chillies, peppercorn and garam masala and one cup of water
  5. Close the cooker and wait for 5 whistles than take it off the flame . let it cool.
  6. Now shift the whole stuff into a kadai and let it simmer till all the juicy water dries up
  7. Add soya sauce and roast it nicely on high flame for 2 to 3 mins.
  8. Serve with bread or eat it like a snack
