This is authentic rajasthani Kadi with lot of spices and onion pakoris. Best to serve with rice or parantha

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sour whisk curd 1 jug
  2. Besan [gram flour] 4 table spoon
  3. Turmeric powder [a pinch]
  4. Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  5. Green chillies - 2
  6. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  7. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  8. Salt according to taste
  9. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  10. Carom seeds - 1/2 tsp
  11. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 th tsp
  12. Mustard Oil 5 tsp
  13. Onion diced 2

Instructions

  1. Whisk the curd with besan, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder.
  2. Heat mustard oil in cooker or pan, add cumin seeds, ajwain [carom seeds] , methi dana [fenugreek seeds], Green chillies.
  3. Saute for 2 seconds and pour the mixture into that.
  4. Let it boil till one boil, and then simmer the gas.
  5. Let it on heat for 20 mints and then put off flame.
  6. While the kadhi is boiling, make the onion pakodas.
  7. Take a pan and add oil and red chilly powder to it and and as a flavor to your gravy.
  8. Serve hot with rice or chapatti
