Ingredients: 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves finely chopped; 1 cup (200 gms) chickpea flour; 1 tsp sugar; 1 tsp Chilli Powder; 1/4 tsp turmeric powder; 1 tsp cumin powder; 2 tbsp rice flour; 1 tbsp of grated coconut; 1 finely chopped green chilli; Juice from half a lime; Little less than 1/2 cup water for kneading; Oil for frying +1 tbsp; Salt to taste

ABOUT Kothambir wadi RECIPE

Kothambir wadi is a crispy crunchy snack made with corriander leaves. Its very easy to make and tastes divine.

Ingredients Serving: 6

1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
1 cup (200 gms) chickpea flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tbsp of grated coconut
1 finely chopped green chilli
Juice from half a lime
Little less than 1/2 cup water for kneading
Oil for frying +1 tbsp
Salt to taste

Instructions

In a large vessel add in coriander leaves,chickpea flour, rice flour,green chilli,cumin seeds,red chili powder,turmeric powder, salt, grated coconut,sugar,lemon juice and 1 tbsp oil.
Mix this well and add water enough to make a soft dough.
Let this rest for 2 mins.
Grease a steamer plate and press down the dough in a circular form.
Steam this for 10 mins.
Once cooked. Cut into cubes.
Heat oil in a deep skillet and fry the steamed cubes till golden brown.
Serve hot with a cup of tea.
