ABOUT Chicken Stew RECIPE

Chicken Stew a more healthier version with veggies. It is a zero oil dish and nutritious with lots of veggies thus good for weight loss.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken 300
  2. Green / Red Chilly 3 chopped diagonal
  3. tomato puree 1 tbsp
  4. Onion 1 thinly sliced
  5. Chilly flakes 1 tsp
  6. Garlic 4 cloves finely chopped
  7. Ginger 1 inch finely chopped
  8. Spring Onion 2 tbsp chopped diagonal
  9. Zucchini 1 small cut into big chunks desired shape
  10. Carrot 1 cut into big chunks desired shape
  11. Green lettuce 2-3 leaves chopped
  12. Sichuan peppercorns 1 tbsp dry roasted and crushed
  13. Rice flour 2 Tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Take the chicken in a pan. Add the thinly sliced onion, salt, tomato puree,chilly flakesand saute it in a low heat for few mins.
  2. Cover the pan with lid andlet the chicken cook in its own juice for around 5 mins.
  3. Now pour enough water and continue to cook for another 10-15 mins.
  4. Add the red chilly, chopped ginger, garlic, zuchini, carrot, green lettuce and the spring onion. Let it cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. Now mix the rice flour in some water and pour into the chicken.
  6. Stir continously for around 2 minsto prevent from forming lumps.
  7. Now add the coarsely crushed sichuan pepper. Give a quick stir and take off the heat.
