ABOUT Ragi Porridge With Fruits ( Infant Recipe) RECIPE

You can introduce Ragi after 6 months. Nutrient rich food with added fruits is very healthy and filling. You can add milk, without milk also it tastes good.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Ragi 3 tsp
  2. Banana 1 (or any fruit)
  3. Milk / diluted milk/ Formula milk -1 cup
  4. Ghee 1/2 tsp
  5. Cardamom powder 1 pinch

Instructions

  1. Dry roast Ragi or roast with half tsp of ghee.
  2. Add milk ( 1/2 milk, 1/2 water) boiled. If adding formula then no need to boil Prepare formula in 1/4 th quantity of water than needed. Add 3/4 water in ragi and let it cook. While serving add rest 1/4 th with added powder. Add Cardamom powder.
  3. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes. Remove from gas and let it cool.
  4. Now cut the fruit into very small pieces ( size of bite depends upon the age of an Infant ) If just 6 months then mash banana ( or any fruit).
  5. If you are introducing apple, then steam and mash it.
  6. Mix fruit with your porridge and let your infant enjoy it .
