Boneless fish steaks batter fried and served in a cheese sauce accompanied with flavoured rice
which fish have you used dear?
Debone the fish from both sides and clean it well
Marinate both the slices of fish in ginger and garlic paste and salt to taste for 20 minutes
Make a batter with the flour, corn flour and egg
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add baking powder
Add water if required to make a smooth thick ribbon like consistency batter
Now dip the marinated fish in this batter and coat well and deep fry to crisp golden brown from both sides
Reserve the fried fish
Heat the butter in a separate pan
Add 1 tablespoon butter
Add 1 tablespoons flour to the butter
Mix well
When the raw smell of flour is gone slowly slowly add the milk
Let it thicken and stir continuously
Add both the cheeses
Add the mixed herbs
Add salt and pepper to taste
Mix well and pour over the fried fish
Grill it for 10 minutes at 180 degrees C
Saute the slices of onions and bell peppers in olive oil
Top it over the fish in cheese sauce
Saute the chopped onions and bell peppers in olive oil
Add little chopped garlic to this
Add the cooked rice
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add little Tabasco sauce
Sprinkle fresh parsley chopped to the rice
Mix well
Serve with the fish
