Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 potatoes
  2. 3-4 spinach leaves with stalk (steamed)
  3. 1/4 cup green peas
  4. 2-3 strands of fenugreek leaves/ 1 teaspoon of kasuri methi
  5. 1 medium size green chilli
  6. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  7. 1/2 tsp roasted coriander powder
  8. 1/2 tsp almond/ cashew powder (optional)
  9. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  10. 1 heaped tbsp roasted moong dal flour
  11. 1/2 tsp lime juice
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Garnish
  14. Few bits of cashew

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in the cooker for 3-4 whistles.
  2. In a pan take little oil and saute the green peas, fenugreek leaves, chilly and ginger garlic paste
  3. Mash the potatoes and keep aside.
  4. Once little browned, grind it coarsely and mix with the mashed potatoes.
  5. Add all the powders and salt and mix well.
  6. Make small tikkis as shown in the picture
  7. Take a non-stick pan, grease it with a little oil, and shallow fry the tikkis from all sides.
  8. Serve with green chutney/ sauce of your choice.
