Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 grams fresh methi /fenugreek leaves
  2. 4 boiled and mashed potatoes
  3. 1 +1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 teaspoon garam masala
  5. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  6. 1 teaspoon ajwain /carom seeds
  7. 2 cups makki ka aata/maize flour
  8. Approx 2 cups warm water to need the dough

Instructions

  1. Finely chop methi and wash nicely in running water.
  2. In a big parat take flour, methi and potatoes along with dried masalas.
  3. Mix and rub with hands.
  4. Use Luke warm water to knead the dough
  5. Knead soft but tight dough for 5 to 10 minutes then keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  6. Cover it with a damp cloth.
  7. Take a piece of kitchen foil and place on the board. Grease it with oil.
  8. Then place the small ball of the dough and flatten it a little to give it a round shape.
  9. Then fry the round kachori in hot oil.
  10. Keep the flame on medium.
  11. Fry from both the sides.
  12. Once it is golden brown from both sides take it off.
  13. Fry all kachories like this.
